Blue and Silver Quilled Bunting Card for Men

How was your thanksgiving? We cooked on Saturday. Had a turkey, but some of the accompanying dishes were chinese-style. We had a Chinese-American thanksgiving you can say. It was a much smaller and easier to manage party versus the one last year where we had what must've been 20 people. I was in the kitchen the whole day and night last year--ready to crash when it was all done, so I paid little to no attention to the rest of the gathering unfortunately. This year we were able to breathe with about half the people! :)

For this card, I gathered inspiration from Paper Daisy Card Design. This one was made for my manager's last day right before Thanksgiving. It's tough making cards for men and this one was no different. At first I thought to myself, do I want to quill a bunch of flags? In the end, my comfort zone kicked in and the next thing you know I have the bunting banner ready. lol

It's snowing at the moment. I can't believe how cold it got and so fast!

  2. Hi Eileen,
I tried to write you some days ago but Google didn't let me,so let me blaim "HIM !"
Love all your new gorgeous creations (the ones with the leaves are exquisite)and I hope your life is back to normal and you all are in good health! I have some health problems-don't really know what it is but I hope I will sometimes soon! I don't have anytime to quill -I must do lots of things, specially help Dana with the school and the rest you know, never ending works at home. The cat is driving me nuts sometimes as he is marking
his teritory and I have to wash and wash and get angry! Maybe that's what was causing me the stress and I feel a knot into my throat-no paines just the feeling you have it there and cannot get away! Well it is hard to explain and I feel somehow traped and scared. We love this cat but I sometimes feel like I made the biggest mistake of my life taking it into my appartament! He is feeling traped just as I do but Dana and my husband didn't ever wanted to give him away(to someone who is living in a house)
Those are my problems and that's why I couldn't come more ofen to write you. Until next time take carre and don't forget I care for you and miss you. xoxo and hugs for everybody!

  5. Oh how nice, Eileen! The bunting and balloons go together perfectly. Both your card and Jill's are great; alike, but different, and each is ideal for a guy.
