Quilled Cupcake Swinging Card

This was the first time I made this type of card--swinging card. It is actually pretty fun. The only thing is that I couldn't make it a double sided circle because I used quilling and that is much too raised. If I added quilling to the other side, then the card wouldn't close flat if you know what I mean.

I am not as satisfied with the way the cupcake came out--it doesn't look the way I originally imagined it in my head. :P I covered the brown frosting with glitter to make it look like sprinkles. The wrapper is alternating blue-greens. It is shy one color to complete this week's Tuesday Alchemy color theme: sea green, brown, and pink. The circle background is dry embossed, but it is hard to see. I had a hard time taking a head-on shot of the card as you can tell. :D
As always, a huge thanks to our sponsors! This week's sponsors are:

-Di's Digi Downloads ($10 Store Voucher)
-LEJ Designs (3 Digital Images)
-Hugs4theHeart Designs ($10 Gift Certificate)

*Thank you to Laine for pointing out my earlier error in listing the sponsors--I sincerely apologize!

  13. Hello Eileen, Sorry for answering so late -had a lot to do cleanning house and preparing for the school that's almost at the door.I tried to teach Dana a little bit of French, repeat English and ,well, facts of life you can always learn! When I get my work done I try to relax with some quilling. It's the way I rest and get out of the real world!I cannot do so many things I would love because of the political situation -we have a snake president without dignity or pride,a notorious thief that's leading us for 8 years now,and we cannot escape! It is too hard to explain and it hurts too much!
I can see you tried a new card style and it is a success ,love it!
Maybe next time I will write you more,I promiss! love you!
Ps.you are right,we love dogs but I guess it's a mistake to keep an animal in the house (appartament)
