Yellow Flocked Cat You're Purrrfect Card

*This post was set up in advance because I am away this week and next.*

How many of you have pets? I have 2 cats that are turning 3 in August. :) This week we are celebrating our furry friends near and far at Tuesday Alchemy. Sponsors for this week are Latte Dah Designs  & Bee Happy Kit/Di's Digital Downloads, so play for prizes!
The cat was stamped and is applied with some flocking powder (a.k.a. crushed velvet). Sentiment was chalked with multiple types of oranges and reds. This is an old Cat stamp set by Inkadinkado. I took a picture of it zoomed in, so maybe you can see the fibers.
I leave you today with my daily cat visitor. I took a picture of her through the railing.

First Attempt at Banner Card

Making this card felt like making 3 cards! Once you have the idea down, it's a breeze though since you're just duplicating everything however many times you need it. I was thinking I'd play around with textures and applied flock to the letters, but in hindsight I feel that the color withdrew from it. I winded up choosing a brighter ribbon to go on top. Also, I originally used the same background color, but I stupidly measured the incorrect size and ran out of the color! I admit, this one in the picture is not as nice as I would have liked it to be but I won't lie, I was TIIIIRED of playing with it and gave up. I'm not proud of that, but this is the best that I can do with the time that I have.

Why do I care about time you might wonder? Well we are MOVING once AGAIN! This time we're moving to Astoria which is in Queens. I have got to say that I am not looking forward to this process. Wish me luck!

♥A Sweet Wish for My BF♥

The internet was finally set up today. :))) We're far from settling into the new apartment, but we have almost everything in here except the cookware. It was all thanks to all of my great friends and parents that we were able to get everything done in one day! It's great to be back in the neighborhood, Bensonhurst, where I was raised and around most of my friends and family.

I'm still getting used to the noises of this apartment. It is situated near two intersecting avenues while the last apartment was on a much quieter street in the middle of the block.

I gave this cupcake card to my boyfriend one day. I made it originally not having plans for anyone in particular, but he came home from work and said he really liked it so why not? So what if it's pink? :D

I quickly made up the inside with a post-it note, so please don't mind it. The card twists a full 360ยบ thanks to an eyelet that was set through both pieces of cardstock and hidden behind the frosting cut out.

Have a super sweet week!
